The 58-year-old hinted in an interview with Sirius XM that a fourth instalment of the comedy franchise could be on the way.
“I can neither confirm nor deny the existence or non-existence of such a project, should it exist or not exist,” Myers said when asked if a new film was in the works.
It’s clear that the actor was trying to avoid admitting the project’s existence.
When pressed about the matter, he stated that it “was a non-confirmed confirmation confirmation.”
Heather Graham played the randy spy’s love interest in the sequel, ‘Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me.’
In 2002, Beyonce starred in the third instalment, ‘Austin Powers in Goldmember.’
Since the release of the third film 20 years ago, Myers has been open about his desire to do another.
In 2018, the comedian stated that a script was in the works, even bringing back Dr. Evil on ‘The Tonight Show.’
Myers is presently starring in Netflix’s ‘The Pentaverate,’ which launches this week.
The show marks the actor’s return to the mainstream and includes him in a variety of roles.
