According to a court document, a former high school teacher and sports coach accused of a variety of child exploitation offences allegedly filmed a youngster and shared a photograph of a student.
Lucas John Gill was apprehended in July at his residence in the Chermside district of Brisbane.
According to police, detectives went to the residence after receiving a tip that the teacher was downloading child exploitation material via an international website with encrypted cloud storage.
They seized a laptop and a smartphone believed to contain child exploitation material, according to authorities.
Gill was released on bail following his first court appearance on six charges, but he was detained when police accused him with dozens of other crimes that allegedly occurred before his arrest.
After seven months in custody, the 42-year-old was granted release in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday.
Gill was released on the condition that he live with his mother, have no contact with anybody under the age of 18, have limited internet access, and participate in a sexual offence treatment programme, according to Magistrate Mark Nolan.
