Amber Heard’s evidence has continued to ‘grow new and handy information,’ according to Depp’s lawyer.
Amber Heard gave “the performance of her life” while testifying against Johnny Depp in his multi-million-pound defamation case, according to his lawyers.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star is suing his ex-wife for an op-ed she penned in 2018 about domestic abuse.
Depp’s lawyers claim that the Washington Post article inaccurately indicates that Depp assaulted Heard physically and sexually throughout their marriage from 2015 to 2017.
He is suing for $50 million in damages.
Heard is suing for $100 million.
Depp’s lawyers contended in the statement that his “recollections have remained exactly the same throughout the six painful years since her (Heard’s) first allegations were made”.
“His truth – the truth – is the same no matter the environment in which it is has been presented..”

The statement said that the evidence “continued to grow new and convenient details” – “as Mr Depp’s counsel properly expected in their opening arguments.”
In her direct examination, Ms Herad did indeed give “the performance of her life,” according to the statement.
Depp’s defamation claim is “coming apart so quickly that his attorneys are moving from prosecutor to persecutor,” according to Heard’s team.

“They boast that Mr Depp’s story has not changed. If so, since he lost the Domestic Violence Restraining Order and he resoundingly lost the libel case in the UK, perhaps he should consider a new strategy rather than the recycled approach of attacking the victim, and refusing to take responsibility for his own conduct.,” said in the statement.
