Pauline Hanson Has Been Voted Australia’s Mother of the Year

May 07, 2022

Pauline Hanson, the leader of One Nation, has been named Australian Mother of the Year.

Following Barnardos’ decision to discontinue the honour in 2021, the Christian organisation ‘Family Voice’ launched the award.

Pauline, a mother of four children and a stepdaughter, was chosen by the group as a “worthy recipient, considering her devotion to family and society, and indeed Australia as a member of federal parliament,” according to the Daily Telegraph.

According to the paper, the politician was unaware that she had been nominated but was “very honoured” to receive the award.

“You’re never over being a mother until the day that you die,” she said.

“The children may be adults but they come to you for guidance and advice and support they need throughout their lives.”
