A “beautiful” mother has died following the floods near Mackay, leaving behind a husband and three young children.
Casey Munchow was travelling with two other passengers, when their car was washed away.
Both, 30-year-old woman from Mount Pelion and a 50-year-old man from Mount Charlton escaped the vehicle and survived.
Munchow was later discovered dead in submerged car, still buckled into the driver’s seat.
Natasha Spreadborough, a relation of Munchow, described herself as “a devoted mother” to her three children Dylan, Tommy and Evie.
She was also “the most incredible, loyal, and loving wife” to her husband,
“Casey was all the good you could ever want in a person,” said Spreadborough on a GoFundMe page created to support the family.
