Pauline Hanson Forced Into Isolation With Covid-19 Days Before Election

Pauline Hanson, who has not been vaccinated, revealed she had tested positive for COVID after a visit to Perth. On Saturday, Senator Hanson said she had tested positive, but the early signs appeared on Friday.

“I will self isolate in accordance with the current rules, and do the best I can to drive One Nation policies from home ahead of this weekend,” she said in a statement.

“I thank all of those people who have sent their well wishes, and I look forward to disappointing all of those who hope that I drop dead.”

The spokesman confirmed that Senator Hanson was unvaccinated, but that she had been self-administering ivermectin.

He said he wasn’t sure whether she’d be released from isolation before the election.

“She’d actually done several tests prior to that but there was a positive test on Saturday,” he said.

“She’s not especially sick, it’s basically like a cold, it’s like the flu.”

Senator Hanson has already criticised the COVID vaccine, despite the fact that it has been shown to greatly lessen the severity of symptoms.

Early December last year, she told Queensland business leaders, “ I’ll tell you honestly, I haven’t had the jab, I don’t intend to have the jab, I’m not putting that shit into my body.”
